The AU boards are open to all members.
On these boards there can be multiple versions of a single character, and any mun can play as many or as few characters as they would like. Bios are not necessary, but you are welcome to post any bios for characters that you play consistently on your Mun Info thread, and link to said bios in your first post in a thread.
Threads should be considered entirely separate from one another, with the events in one thread taking place in a different universe than all other threads--unless otherwise agreed on by the participants.
Please follow standard naming conventions when titling your threads:
Some example thread titles:
Please DO NOT post in "CLOSED" threads that you are not involved in. If someone posts in your CLOSED thread without permission, contact a moderator, and we will delete the post.
Plotting threads in the OOC boards before posting is encouraged, but not necessary. Just as you can post open starters on Tumblr and wait for others to respond, you are welcome to do the same here.
Threads which have been inactive for over a month will be automatically Archived by moderators; if you would like it re-instated, just contact one of the mods and they will move it back to the pertinent board. You can request your own board be either Archived or fully Deleted at any time, given that you have the agreement of everyone who is involved. Mods will not Archive boards with only one post.

Please follow standard naming conventions when titling your threads:
- OPEN or CLOSED - OPEN threads are available for anyone to post in, as any character, at any time. If you don't want multiple versions of the same character, make sure this is noted in your opening post. CLOSED threads are private threads between members--they can be read by anyone, but no one other than the established participants is permitted to post.
- Thread Title - Give your thread a name. This helps to navigate for both players and for casual readers.
- Type of AU - A brief description of what type of AU the thread is - Modern? Canon? Zombie Apocalypse? Mass Effect?
- If you are working on establishing a specific AU continuity, please use this to name your 'verse, and maintain that name throughout all AU threads that take place in the same 'verse.
- FREEFORM or GMED - This distinguishes what type of RP you plan to use for your thread. FREEFORM is open, structureless writing, with no GM, no use of stats or other gameplay mechanics--essentially, collaborative storytelling. GMed threads may make use of a narrator to control NPCs, a stats or combat system, and other gameplay mechanics similar to what might be seen in a DnD campaign.
- Triggers - Please note any triggers that may be present in your thread, such as mention of rape, suicide, self-harm, etc. We want to encourage people to play out the stories that matter to them, but it is also important to ensure that no one accidentally stumbles upon reading an RP that negatively affects their mental state!
Some example thread titles:
- OPEN: The Approaching Storm - Pirate AU, Freeform
- CLOSED: Keep Calm - Citadel!Verse ME AU, Freeform, TW: Self-Harm
